Description
This painting was completed just before Hurricane Ike destroyed everything you see in this painting EXCEPT the actual lighthouse. I guess because it's round, that's what kept it standing.

I have to say I love this painting. . . Coming from SE Texas, I grew up with this lighthouse as a major part of my life. . . I am glad someone caught it the way it was, before Ike. . . Thank you for the reminder of home. . .
